Spiraken Movie Review Ep 24: Die Hard (or Now I Have A Machine Gun! Ho! Ho! Ho!)

Merry Christmas, It's time for our very special Christmas episode of the Spiraken Movie Review . And for you our listeners, Xan, Deke and Kal go all out and review one of the greatest Christmas Movies of All Time, Die Hard directed by John McTiernan and starring Bruce Willis, Reginald Veljohnson and Alan Rickman.
For the first part of this episode Deke, Xan and Kal do their very first Spiraken Email Review and discuss the 3 emails sent to us. Then, after discussing some of the future releases in Film, They proceed to get down and dirty with John McClane in this week's review. They talk about awesome corporate bosses, ponder about where one can hire a minion and comment on the incompetence of the LAPD in this movie. However due to an error in the recording software, Xan and Co. had to perform a Christmas miracle and reconstruct this entire podcast. So the audio quality of this episode is a little shaky and the ending is a little weak but otherwise we hope you enjoy it. Remember we have two contests going on right now. Spiraken Movie Review Ep 19: School of Rock (or And When That Magic Man He Come To Town...)

In this episode of the Spiraken Movie Review , Xan and Deke chat about many subjects from the state of Best Buy to various types of music before they get to the objective of this episode. So once they are done wasting time they review the 2003 rock comedy "The School of Rock" directed by Richard Linklater and starring Jack Black, Michael White, Sarah Silverman, Joan Cusak and several children.
Besides talking about the movie, Xan reminisces about years long past and Deke talks about how at one time He, Xan, Kal, Kurado, and the Mysterious J.T. reviewed an adult film back in 1999. Truly entertaining but the real star of this episode is the awesome music that was used in this movie. Sorry about the poor audio quality in this episode, the spiraken travel mic is on its last legs and Xan needs to purchase a new one. However if you are able to stand the poor sound, this episode also contains Deke's theories about the king, Xan ranting about the proper training method of witches , and why the logical conclusion to any threat is dismemberment.
